A STORM OF LIGHT: ‘As The Valley Of Death Becomes Us, Our Silver Memories Fade’ to see release via Burning World

New York City, NY’s A STORM OF LIGHT will see its European (excl. UK) CD and international 2-LP release of their forthcoming album As the Valley of Death Becomes Us, Our Silver Memories Fade via Burning World Records.

As the Valley of Death Becomes Us,…. is the band’s third discharge featuring multi-faced artist/musician Josh Graham (Neurosis, ex-Red Sparowes / Battle Of Mice) and was co-produced by Joel Hamilton at Studio G in Brooklyn, NY. The album artwork was designed and laid out by Josh Graham (Soundgarden, Mastodon, Neurosis, Madonna) and can be seen in detail at this location.

Additionally A STORM OF LIGHT has posted a free MP3 download of a track entitled ‘Collapse’ taken from the forthcoming album at the Profound Lord website and can be obtained via this link

As the Valley of Death Becomes Us, Our Silver Memories Fade is set for a May 17th 2011 international release date via Burning World. Featuring guest-appearances by Soundgarden guitarist Kim Thayi, Jarboe (ex-Swans), Carla Kihlstedt (Sleepytime Gorilla Museum), Kris Force (Amber Asylum), Matthias Bossi (Sleepytime Gorilla Museum, Skeleton Key) and longtime collaborator Nerissa Campbell.

A STORM OF LIGHT’s new album, As The Valley of Death Becomes Us, Our Silver Memories Fade, will be released on May 17 via Profound Lore Records (USA/UK)/Burning World Records (Europe minus UK). The CD was co-produced by Graham Joel Hamilton (who lends keyboards to the record as well) and features several guests that are sure to have the metal world talking. SOUNDGARDEN guitarist Kim Thayil appears on two tracks, as does Jarboe (SWANS). There are also appearances from Carla Kihlstedt (SLEEPYTIME GORILLA MUSEUM), Kris Force (AMBER ASYLUM), Matthias Bossi (SLEEPYTIME GORILLA MUSEUM, SKELETON KEY) and longtime collaborator Nerissa Campbell.
